Other places you can find me:

email : discarded.loveletters (at) gmail.com

Buttons & Twine on Facebook – if you become a fan of the page, posts will appear in your friends feed with links to updates on the blog. So easy and convenient to read entries you may be interested in!

Parapluie Press on Etsy – Where I sell my chapbooks, jewelry, and needle arts.

Handmade Finds – Featured my books “Things That Float” and “Hidden Jewels” in one of their posts about handmade chapbooks.

The handiwork and crafts of others:

Chuka on on Etsy – Kayla makes beautifully hand sewn items with colorful, fun fabrics. I also especially love her softies! Her work always looks very professional and well made.

Amanda Makes Comics on Etsy, and Diario Espanol de Amanda on Blogspot – Amanda’s hilarious autobiographical anecdotes in comic form. What your grandmother might refer to as “off color” humor, and the best kind, in my opinion.

Two Crafty Tanuki Molly and Caroline’s blog about art, cooking, and making cool stuff. My favorite so far has been the homemade bento!

Poetic Home Every well written post is bursting with beautiful photos and genius ideas about re-purposing vintage items for attractive home decor and use.

Dudecraft A dude who crafts! Always an appreciated rarity. He’s got some real great tutorial videos, I especially enjoyed the mini LP gift tags how-to.

Me and My Crochet Some really nice crochet patterns, including a really nice pineapple doily, which I may someday try if I am feeling strong enough to concentrate…

Places to get supplies, ideas, support, etc.:

Darice – pretty much the largest craft supply company I have come across. They make a ton of the beads, jewelry making findings and tools, and general craft supplies that we sell at my work.

Stampington & Co. – A Magazine publisher that releases tons of arts and craft related issues covering scrapbooking, sewing, and journaling, my favorite of which is Stuffed.

PMC Connection – A great resource for precious metals clay.

Left Out Knitter – A site I stumbled across during one of my vast googling sessions looking for resources for southpaw knitters.

Kimberly Chapman – Has a great template for designing patterns for brick stitch design beading.

Other blogs and pages I enjoy:

PDX Pumped my boyfriend’s blog about diet, nutrition, and exercise.

Bread & Honey – A really great food and cooking blog. Always has excellent and mouthwatering pictures, and realistically delicious recipes that I would actually think of trying on my own.

Kelle Hampton – A really beautiful and inspirational blog about life, dreams, family and love.

Oh No They Didn’t – raunchy livejournal community about celebrity gossip that I can’t help but stay away from. The comments frequently bring the lolz.
